Case: Chronic Diarrhoea in a 3yo dog.

Diagnosis: Lympho-follicular gastritis and chronic enteritis.

Dr Mandy O’Hara’s comments: The immunohistochemistry on the sections of stomach (pictured) and duodenum show there is a follicular arrangement of round cells within the stomach and a mixed population of T and B cells in the duodenum. These changes support a chronic inflammatory process rather than early alimentary tract lymphoma.
